A creative / tech mulitpreneur who specializes in finding the pulse of pop culture, and marrying deep analytics to find entrepreneurial sweet spots in SaaS, creative development, marketing and production. Through his creative syndicate Kindred Spirits, which consists of established BIPOC business partners, collaborators, crew and resources, Monty Marsh's distinct voice traverses music, fashion, technology and film. As a cross discipline thinker and doer, known as much for the stylistic breadth of his work as for its substance, Monty’s visual storytelling style resonates across generations. As a commercial director, he is an inaugural CDDP (Commercial Directors Diversity Program) Fellow sponsored by the AICP and DGA. His Adidas Originals branded spec short film was lauded as one of the ’Top 5 Creative Ideas of the Week’ by AdAge, and he is 1 of 32 directors chosen to be part of SHOOT Magazine’s New Director’s Showcase Class of 2019.
Monty received his B.A. in Economics from The University of NC at Chapel Hill, he has a digital marketing certification from General Assembly, he is a self taught photographer, and has created photo essays for President Obama’s 2008 Presidential Campaign, the Washitaw Indians during Mardi Gras for Vogue, Life in Cuba, the Anti-War Movement under President George W. Bush, and numerous portraits from around the world.
