A rare native Angeleno, Debbie Formoso grew up on the diverse streets of the San Fernando Valley and was raised by two Filipino accountants hoping for the American Dream. Bringing a unique, authentic perspective to all her creative projects, she has directed commercials for Land Rover, Bertolli, P&G, Ragu and several innovative tech start-ups. She loves food, loves people and loves the stories behind them. Mentored by cinematographers Jeff Cutter (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Matthew Libatique, ASC (Requiem for a Dream), her educational background has helped her provide a cinematic eye to the culinary and lifestyle pieces she creates. On her days off, you may catch her eating churros at Disneyland with her husband and son.
